Join us for our Automotive Body Restoration Class on August 2-3rd, 2025, and September 20-21st, 2025, from 8 am to 5 pm in Nuevo, CA. This immersive workshop will cover essential topics in automotive restoration, focusing on high-end automotive restoration techniques. Day 1 will include lessons on how to properly strip a car, metal prep, acid washing, and the use of primers. You’ll learn about gapping a car, welding, panel alignment, and metal finishing, including hammer and dolly techniques with shrink disc. Day 2 will provide hands-on experience with body filler, detailing how to mix, spread, and sand effectively. We will also discuss hand placement, shapes, and techniques for using splines, as well as the various grits used in metal work and much more!
Although we focus on everything up to paint, we do discuss the paint process in our automotive restoration journey. It’s a ton of valuable information for anyone new to the field, very experienced, or just looking to buy a car or have a car built. We cover the full spectrum from high end automotive restoration to the collision industry, including insights from car restoration classes and essential metal work techniques.
There will be a maximum of 8 people in each car restoration class, with myself, Travis Sylvester, and Mike Coutts from Sylvester’s Customs providing hands-on instruction in high-end automotive restoration techniques. We limit the class size to ensure you receive more one-on-one attention for your questions and metal work techniques. I guarantee you get what you pay for; the class will be $1,500 per person, and spots are first come, first serve, with full payment required upon sign up and no refunds. Once you have paid for the class in full, the address and specifics will be provided. This automotive restoration class is likely to fill up fast. We accept Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle.
